How an article is made

Each article starts from product data: published specifications, current prices, ratings, and what buyers repeatedly say in their own reviews. A draft is written from that data by AI models and checked automatically against it: facts, prices, links, and length. A draft that fails a check is not published.

We do not test products ourselves. Where an article quotes an owner, the quote is copied word for word from the linked source and appears under "What owners say". A first-hand note from our editor, when there is one, appears in a box marked "Reviewer's note".

Keeping articles current

Prices and availability are rechecked regularly, and an article is revised when they change. The date and edition number at the top of each article show its latest revision.
